It's a bit harder to keep up with this blog than I thought. Between working at my lovely job, I sometimes can't find the time to enlighten you guys on my adventures. Or sometimes, I just don't have any idea what to write about. But I think I do now. And Kudos to whoever reads this entire thing.
What is a "Wonderwall?" As most of you know, it's the title of a really popular song by a band named Oasis. Pretty much everyone knows this song, so hopefully I don't have to give you the history on that. But upon listening to the song the other night, it made me wonder.. What IS a wonderwall? A wonderwall, in my opinion is somehow you can count on, and trust to help you reach your full potential. Someone who's gonna save you when it feels like the rest of the world wants to walk out on you. Many people my age claim to "be in love," or have sworn that they have found their "soulmate," but I can't help feeling that these are false beliefs. It's true, love is what you make it... but LOVE is also BLIND. I can't imagine what it feels like to be pretty much "married" at the young age of 20. Sure, there are those who have found true love out there, and I'm not mad about that. But I can't stand to see those who have been in a relationship for a week, but "they are in love," and "Married" as their MySpace status. I don't think people like that know what LOVE is. They don't know YET anyway.
Love isn't something that can be described into a few words. There isn't a recipe for it. But I can tell you what LOVE is NOT. Love is NOT wanting your other half to suffer and be as unhappy as you are. Love is NOT getting mad that your significant other didn't call you when they said they would. Real people know that EVERYONE has priorities, and everyone gets busy sometimes. Now if they NEVER call, ever? That's another story. But Love is NOT NEEDING to be on the phone or with that person 24-7! Besides the fact that it's clingy, it's pathetic. Have your own life! There is nothing wrong with wanting to spend time with the person you're with. But when you start to lose your identity to theirs, and you don't have a sense of SELF anymore, you need to reconsider what you're doing. Also, Love is NOT making your boyfriend or girlfriend choose YOU over their friends or family. We must all learn to co-exist. When it comes to the point that you're making someone pick you like you're playing some sort of pathetic dodgeball game on the school playground, maybe you need to catch a grip.
NOTHING lasts forever.* Almost Nothing. And I mean this in the aspect of.. it's pretty annoying when you have a friend who's all wrapped up in their relationship, and they NEVER have the time for you because they'd rather sit on the couch with their boyfriend or girlfriend like they do every damn night. BUT as soon as the relationship hits the rocks, who's the 1st person they call? YOU. Who's the person that they now expect to devote every waking minute of their lives to making them feel better? YOU. Now, I'm not saying that I won't be there for you if you're going through some tough stuff, because I will. And I understand in most people's heads their relationship comes before their friends. But if you are lucky enough to have friends who care about you, appreciate them! Because "real" people don't come around too often. So be good to your friends, because if they are good ones, they put up with a lot of your bull sh't. In most cases (and experiences I've had), I've had friends who SWORE the relationship was over, and were so heart-broken, and I was there. But as soon as everything "magically" worked out, *poof* my oh-so-heartbroken friend vanished, without even saying "Thank You." And I think that's selfish.
So back to the topic at hand (sorry for ranting, lol), a Wonderwall can be comparable to someone you love, in my opinion. Whether it's a friend, family member, or significant other. But I just think some people have the wrong idea about what love actually is. Flaunting your relationship like it's a bad habit isn't love. Showing off your boyfriend/girlfriend because you're actually PROUD to be with them? That's more like it. I'd rather be single and happy, than in a relationship just because "everyone else is doing it." And there's something way more satisfying about being with someone you WANT, rather than someone you NEED just for the illusion of love. These are the years for us to grow. And it's sad enough to say, but some of us still need to GROW UP.
"LOVE,"
Kendrizzle. :)

Hypocrisy? Airing it Out; Confidence Ensues.
I got a great response from my 1st blog in the form of Twitter Updates when i woke up this morning at a crazy and questionable hour. And by "great response" I mean bitter, pissed, and whiny from a certain reader who thought I was pointing fingers at them. To be truthfully honest; I wasn't. Are you that vain that you think my ENTIRE blog was about you? No, but a part of this one is NOW. The part about "attacking my opinion?" It was in quotes for a reason, to hint the sarcasm. So unless you've happened to change your name to "Sarah Palin" overnight, I'm confused as to why someone who isn't a "McCain supporter" defending him so well. Why? Because I'm still preaching and "b*tching" about freedom of speech.
You are free to feel/think/say/act however you want. But as least be a grown-up about it. P.S: NO BODY CARES IF YOU'RE A REPUBLICAN! At least i don't. F.Y.I, I still stand my ground on my opinions from the 1st post. So what is the lesson learned here? Oh yeah... I can B*TCH all I want to. It's my blog, sweetie. :) But I do appreciate those of you who took the time out to understand my opinion, whether you agreed or not. Either way, i hope that all you youngin's are just planning to get out there and VOTE. You can say what you want about McCain, or Obama, But that doesn't mean a thing if you don't get yourself out there in November and represent the candidate you support!
Now on to bigger and better things, like "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell."
No, I am not a raging alcoholic who has one last wish. That's the name of my NEW FAVORITE book. The author's name is Tucker Max (lol, a little backwards) and he is very talented! The book is about Tucker's life experiences in college/grad school while being a heavy drinker and serious womanizer. But what makes the story HILARIOUS is the fact that even though Tucker has a cocky nature about him, he is not afraid to make fun of HIMSELF and tell the type of embarrassing stories you couldn't even begin to imagine. The book gives a clever insight into the male mind of a guy obsessed with sex, and alcohol. But with a comedic twist. I recommend this book to anyone (guy or girl), who is looking for a serious laugh, because Tucker conveys himself very well. You may find yourself relating to tucker in some ways (maybe not), or you might see a few of your friends in the people he is close with in the stories.
Tucker Max also has his very own blog website that began his career as an author.
Check it out: http://www.tuckermax.com/ and read the stories on the web.
Gracias and Adios! ;)

President Palin? "Like a Bad Disney Movie..."
I knew I wasn't the only American who found the idea frightening that Sarah Palin could one day become the president if Republican candidate John McCain was elected, then kicked the bucket. Sarah Palin....as president of the United States?! That scares the crap out of me. The idea of McCain scares me enough, but that woman is far worse. Palin outshines McCain enough as it is. After having a heated "Twitter Debate" (LOL) I support the McCain/Palin administration even less. Not saying that the candidate I DO support (Barack Obama), is Superman, but I do believe that he can do a far better job than John, and Sarah. Why is that? Because he actually wants a (spell it with me) C-H-A-N-G-E! I don't believe that the Republican candidates this year are going to fix the issues that I think are most important. Voting for someone who wants to keep killing our troops is absurd to me. When I once made a comment about Sarah's ability to govern a country when she cant even control her own household, (she has a pregnant teenage daughter), I was "attacked" for thinking that had anything to do with her ability to govern an entire country. HELLO, because it does! I know that the fact that her daughter is pregnant isn't the deciding factor of whether or not she will be a good Vice President, but I do think that it is a factor worth noticing. Sarah Palin voted AGAINST Sex Education programs that supported teaching kids Safe Sex. Instead, she voted for "Abstinence Only" programs, that taught students not to engage in sexual activity AT ALL. Does she know what century we're living in? Kids are gonna do it. Especially bored kids in Alaska who have nothing else to do, so she should've known this best. So instead of sheltering your kids and keeping them inside of your (metaphorical) Igloo, why don't you try teaching them something they can actually use? And not to make Sarah's personal life the topic of the debate, but didn't she cheat on her husband a few years ago? That is not the "traditional Republican way," Sarah! For someone who preaches traditional values (like woman staying in the kitchen? LOL), she's having a bit of trouble following them. And that's where my concern is. If you're all into that sorta stuff, cool; freedom of speech allows me AND you to do whatever we like. But on the contrary, as a candidate in the Vice Presidential election, I believe Sarah Palin has set a poor example, and as a woman, she is an embarrassment. You can't wish away your past, however, you CAN get you head out of your own ass and admit that you were wrong.
And as some of you know, I am a HUGE Matt Damon fan, This video made me enjoy him even more.
